This Privacy Policy explains what information the Solopath app ("Solopath", "we", "us") collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. Solopath is intended for students aged 13 and older (secondary school, entrance-exam and university students). It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 18, please use Solopath with the knowledge of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Solopath does not access your location, contacts, microphone or call history. If you choose to upload a profile photo, the app asks permission to read the image you select.
We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only with the service providers that run parts of the app for us, and only as needed for that purpose:
| Provider | What for | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, sign-in and file storage | Account, learning activity, community content |
| Google (Sign-In, Firebase Cloud Messaging) | Google sign-in and push notifications | Name, email, profile picture; notification token |
| Google AdMob | Showing and measuring ads | Advertising ID, IP address, device and ad-interaction data |
| Google Gemini and OpenRouter | AI tutor and AI-generated practice quizzes | The text of your question or the lesson content sent for the answer (not your name or email) |
| Cloudinary and Cloudflare R2 | Hosting images, audio and course files | Images you upload (such as a profile photo) |
Your display name, profile photo and community posts are visible to other Solopath users. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety and rights of users and Solopath.
Solopath shows ads through Google AdMob. Where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK), we ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time from the privacy option in the app's side menu. You can also reset your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalization in your Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads or Settings → Privacy → Ads). Ads in Solopath are limited to content suitable for general audiences. Learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and access to stored data is restricted by account-level security rules. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
